Salmonberry River - One of the finest Salmon and Trout streams in
Oregon.
The area is mostly roadless and the only real access is on the rail
line. The
Port of Tillamook has done it's best to accomodate the fishermen with
walkways
on trestles and informational signs.
In the middle of nowhere, in the rain, about 40 crazy folks (me
included) got off
the train, so we could stand in the wet grass to take pictures of the
train going by.
